Assemblywoman Heather Simmons has dedicated her career to serving students and communities through public higher education. At Rowan College of South Jersey, she focuses on technical and trades education and workforce development. At Rowan University, she championed funding for the new Vet School and built partnerships for the Edelman Fossil Park. She has driven community impact, raising over $2.6 million for Habitat for Humanity and the Boys & Girls Clubs, and creating a $17 million loan program for small businesses.
